Projects

CCNBC

Alterations & Additions to PET Line 9 which consisted of an upgrade to the PET Line 9 production area, focusing on major concrete works for the floors. Despite the challenges of working in a fully operational environment, we ensured that safety protocols were strictly followed at all times.

Hilltop Village

The recently developed Hilltop development plaza was completed at the end of November 2022. Situated right next to one of Namibia’s biggest malls – The Grove Mall of Namibia.

 

The primary concept is a multi-use building comprising of retail, food and beverage outlets on the ground floor and a 1st and 2nd floor office space with a total 8,500m2 leasing area. We are proud to have delivered this project for Demushuwa Properties and with Food Lovers Market as the anchor tenant.

 

An attractive development for the consumer, creating about 300 jobs on this project. Constructed over a 16-month period with complex construction features including a 15m cantilever beam that was engineered into the design as a unique feature from the outside deck while creating curiosity about what it would be like inside the building.

NAMPORT ENTRANCE GATE

Transformation of the NAMPORT entrance gate complex, featuring off-shutter concrete elements. The project included constructing a new entrance gate, temporary structures, and alterations to existing buildings, expanding the entrance lanes from two to five.

  • Enhanced Traffic Flow: Upgraded entrance lanes to accommodate increased traffic.

  • Extensive Concrete Works: Utilized 1,100 cubic meters of concrete for robust construction

DHG PLATFORM & WAREHOUSE

This turnkey project involved constructing a new industrial warehouse with a floor area exceeding 4,000 square meters. Completed in two phases, the project included bulk excavations, layer works, paving, and significant concrete work.

  • Full turn-key Development: From bulk excavations to final warehouse construction.

  • Phased Execution: Efficiently managed in two phases for optimal results.

  • Major Concrete Works: Over 1,400 cubic meters of concrete was casted

CYMOT HILLTOP

Construction of a state-of-the-art retail outlet for CYMOT, this outlet is considered there flagship branch which features extensive earthworks, office spaces, basement storage, parking, and a new fitment center in the Kleine Kuppe area. This facility caters to all automotive, bicycle, outdoor, and protective gear needs.

Key Highlights:

  • Modern Retail Space: A cutting-edge facility for diverse retail needs.

  • Extensive Construction: Utilized over 500,000 bricks, 5,700 cubic meters of concrete, and 420 tonnes of reinforcement.

  • Comprehensive Amenities: Includes office spaces, basement storage, and a fitment center.

Atlantic Cold Storage

Situated in the country’s main harbor town, Walvis bay. This cold storage facility is strategically located to support and provide ideal cold storage facilities to the harbor and fish factories.

 

With an undercover area of close to 7 000m2  the construction of these cold storage and office facilities provide an atmosphere-controlled condition to store goods for the long-term storage

Capricorn Corner

This iconic project can be found along Nelson Mandela Avenue within the capital, this multi-storey office building for the Capricorn Group is a one of a kind.

 

With a special free form timber roof structure with exposed rafters highlights key design features in this development   

The construction of this new processing is an expansion of the existing processing facility which included bulk earthworks and with an industrial floor area of close to 10 000m2.

 

This factory was a significant investment for the O&L Group which further supports the contribution to developing such pioneering facilities and value addition in our Namibia market

Nestled in the mountains on the outskirts of Windhoek, the Midgard Country Estate owned by O&L Group – Leisure.

 

This new look country estate is a place that any local or tourist can truly unwind. While maintaining its historic German architecture style, the alterations and additions included revamping existing rooms and adding new rooms, adding and upgrading of staff accommodation.

 

New conference centers, a complete new reception and restaurant area was completed on this project   revamp projects

The construction of a state-of-art Private hospital with two new wing; cardiac and pediatric wards with a two level parking structure.

 

The Lady Pohamba Private Hospital extension was a much-needed upliftment in the healthcare sector.

The recently completed Headquarters for Nedbank Namibia, is one of kind green star rated building, standing tall within the CBD of Windhoek.

 

The creative design and key features, has transformed the urban skyline in Windhoek. The building consists of five super basement levels, 10 office floors with cantilever slab and a magnificent sky garden situated on the 7th floor.

 

Nedbank’s new office building focused on sustainability, an environmentally friendly building is in progress in obtaining a 5-star as-built rating, and this project was completed on time and within budget

The construction of the Architectural and Engineering Buildings for the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST) consisted of lecture venues and auditoriums with accurate finishing’s.

 

A place where future architects and engineers can learn and develop to become valuable additions to our built environment field
